Yuji Jones is a junior from Claremont, CA, studying International Relations and Economics at CMC. At the Gould Center, Yuji has participated in the podcasting workshop, the winter passion project, and worked as a year-long research assistant for one of the Humanities Lab (“Politics and Storytelling”) with Professor Nicholas Buccola. Yuji's longstanding interest in learning new languages, engaging in discussions about movies, and creating videos in his free time has ushered him into the world of humanities. The Gould Center has been a focal point of Yuji's journey here at CMC, and he appreciates a place like the Gould Center, where he was able to exercise his creative drive with the opportunities that he engaged in. As a student manager, Yuji is excited to stay connected with the institute and students' involvement from within. On campus, Yuji is a First-Year Guide and a member of the Claremont Marketing Group, and you might also see him zooming on his electric scooter!
