In AY 2026-27, an effort to promote humanities-focused scholarship at CMC, as well as to promote research collaboration between faculty and students, the Gould Center invites proposals from faculty for research projects in the humanities that will be pursued in partnership with a CMC student research assistant. Proposals are welcome from all CMC tenured/tenure-track/continuing faculty in humanistic fields. Faculty may apply individually or in groups. The Faculty Feedback Forum program provides a humanities faculty member with an opportunity to receive feedback on a book manuscript or other substantial project in progress (e.g., a series of two to three connected papers). To ensure full consideration, please submit your application by Friday, October 16. Proposals will also be accepted at any time during the year on a rolling basis.
