Pronouns: she/her/hers
Tomi Oyedeji-Olaniyan is a junior dual majoring in Neuroscience and Literature from Lagos, Nigeria. Her experience with the humanities has been transformative as she has explored cultural mythology and literature through her courses and independent projects at Claremont McKenna College. As an Appel Fellow ’20 and an alum member of the 5C podcast, Free Food for Thought, she is passionate about storytelling through both literature and visual media. It is this love of stories that has led her to pursue a future career in marketing in the publishing industry. Tomi is grateful for the opportunity to continue to expand these skills as the Gould Center Student Manager for Social Media and Outreach during the Spring semester. Outside of the Gould Center, Tomi is involved with the Reed EEG Lab on campus and can often be found crafting at the Hive, reading a book, or working on her fantasy-themed portraits.
