Rukmini Banerjee' 24 is a junior at CMC, majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. At the Gould Center, Rukmini has participated in the humanities lab, the passion project program, the Gould Fellows program, and the Focus on Faculty research team. Rukmini's exploration of the humanities allowed her passion for philosophy and social justice to combine and develop into her interest in critical race theory and the philosophy of law. Rukmini views the humanities as a method in which to learn about the world and her time at the Gould Center has allowed her to see the countless ways that humanistic inquiry can be utilized. Rukmini is excited to lead the Celebration of Creativity team to uplift students and support creative pursuits. On campus, Rukmini is also involved at the Atheneum and SOURCE Nonprofit Consulting. In her free time, she enjoys reading and attending concerts.
