Ramón came to Claremont McKenna as a 3/2 Management Engineering major, then went on to add a biomedical engineering degree from Columbia — training that pointed toward a career built on numbers. His path took him into investment banking at Lehman Brothers, then Barclays Capital, in New York, and later into senior executive roles at Warner Bros. Discovery, before the pull of storytelling won out. He wrote and produced Last Ferry, which premiered in London at BFI Flare and was acquired by Netflix. Years later, he went on to co-found Emblematic Pictures, an independent studio building a slate of original and acquired projects and a theatrical distribution arm, including the feature A Little Family Drama, now in development for television. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Outfest board.
