Nirel JonesMitchell '20 is from Palo Alto, California and majored in Government and Spanish. In her free time, she runs track, performs spoken word, and watches foreign films. She appreciates the Humanities because it allows her to understand new cultures and express--more comprehensively--love and solidarity. Thus, at Gould, she was most excited to be involved in collaborative programming initiatives, including the Great Expectations Humanities Research Lab where she investigated the intersections of societal expectations and identity formation.
