Katherine Almendarez '22 is a Honduran asylee and advocate residing in Miami, Fl. At CMC, she is junior majoring in Latin American Studies focused on community organizing, immigration, and public policy work. Katherine enjoys the humanities because they provide her space for healing, celebrate her culture, and learn about her community. Outside of Gould, she is a CARE fellow and enjoys swimming and tweeting.
