Emma Merk is a junior is a dual major in Literature and Environmental Analysis from Chicago, Illinois. Emma has previously worked as a fellow in the Gould Fellow Program where she got to engage with impressive humanities intellectuals like Erik Larsen and Charles Yu. Outside of the Gould, Emma is on the CMS Women’s Lacrosse Team and pursues many professional musical pursuits. As the Gould Center’s student manager for Social Media and Outreach, she is very excited to connect students to the Center so they can begin to garner a passion for the humanities.
