Amalie Wong is a sophomore from Chicago, Illinois, pursuing a dual major in Economics and Art. During her freshman year, Amalie served as a research assistant for The Imagination Project which initiated her passion for the Gould Center. Amalie’s exploration of the humanities follows her interests in creativity, culture, and the ways they intersect with markets and media. She is particularly curious about the role of aesthetics in consumer decision-making and the business side of art. Outside academics, Amalie enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, retail therapy, and designing for Claremont Apparel.
